On behalf of the Administration, Staff, and Students at Miller High School, we would like to give a sincere thanks to the Corning Eagle Riders who donated clear water bottles to the students in grades 7-12. Having clear water bottles is a policy of the high school and this will help all students to have the opportunity to have one. Some of the Eagle Riders, Abby Toth-Fralick, Nikki Jones, Alyssa Holbrook, Kim Jones, Jackie Patton, and Teresa Martin were on hand this morning to deliver the donated water bottles complete with a purple cap and Falcon logo. Also pictured are Mr. Losco, MHS Principal, Mrs. Headlee, School Counselor. Students on hand to assist with the delivery were Olivia Dishon, Abby Wood, Ethan Wilson, Joey Blaney, Conner Kaido, and Isaiah Shover . Not pictured, but behind the camera, Missy Jones, College and Career Coordinator.
The Corning Eagle Riders have been long-time supporters of our local community and reached out to see how they could help the Southern Local School District. Upon a few suggestions as to what the school current needs are the Eagle Riders rose to the occasion, the first being the water bottles for the high school. Missy Jones has been working closely with the Corning Eagle Riders as of late and has been overwhelmed by their generosity to the district. She noted that there are a couple of other charitable contributions in the planning stages and to look for information to be coming very soon!
You can learn more about the Corning Eagle Riders and their charitable contributions in the next edition of the Falcon Flier due out next month.
